how many endcaps do you need? birdfish is 'ahem' currently very much in love so might be MIA for a while.... but i do know that he has a lot of stock cos overorder. the encaps should be $5 a pc (not sure), waterproof from icecap, IMO, very cheap loh. can post here, i'll get in touch with him.
  8. that made my sucky day
  9. been infected with that virus for quite some time.... need to be disinfected... Spidey, how's about another round?
  10. question: "is this easy to keep?" whether its damsels or angels or buterflies or seahorse or anemones... answer:"YES...OF COS,see my one..so healthy, eating already." so many of these shops
  11. oooo, kinky! he was in the tips forums too, then kanna suan i think. cos his picks VERY diff from New Paper one. now never see him, maybe he use diff name log in. maybe i also can do tips for NP, u think shu qi will have dinner and 'ahem' desert with me?
  12. just found out powder black is the white cheeked surgeon. unless you have a BIG tank with good filtration... and swiiming space PLUS hiding space. i dun think you can keep all 3 together. powder brown and black look almost the same, black is more difficult to keep though, and PBT are quite aggressive
  13. that guy buay chun one!!! happy happy give tips.... follow him sure loogi $$$ dodo, sump too good ah? make him drink skimmate better
  14. u forgot barnes and beardsley. they were my heroes. those were the days.... hmm....houllier? he'll be gone after this season. after liverpool fail AGAIN to qualify for Champs League i don't think its chelsea's year, they have bought many expensive players but quality? still hard to say. man u has yet to reveal their brazilian signing... and knowing fergie...if he's anything like c.ronaldo. man u will be hard to beat in the EPL. hey, isn't this a fish forum?
  15. LIVERPOOL? LIVERBOO!!!!! dunno what pool doing... why play left footed kewell on the right!*(idiot) owen damn lazy, dun go back for defence, wait for ball only(idiot) hesky is a waste of space(idiot) missed SO many opportunity to score(idiots) defence so leakt.... if villa were more on form, or if it was man utd or arsenal... pool will be shot down!!! was tempted to make a bet on them, but the odds bit funny, suspected "KELONG!!!" they're a far cry from the champions they used to be. used to support them like crazy too
  16. uh, how is the cleaner wrasse crucial? IMHO, cleaner shrimps live longer and clean better. seriously, i'm not sure how the cow will react... or if its a danger at all... after all, its a RARE occurence no need to panic.. maybe the wrasse will just leave the cow alone after he's had his fill... and its just cleaning off parasites...
  17. mine never opened unless placed in VERY strong current. so when i feed my fishes, i put in a bit....then wait.... think they are like sharks, can 'smell' food, a while later, their polyps will open very wide..... then i continue feeding... they will catch the food, cos the current blows it in their direction. i bought mine about a year back, at the now defunct LFS near payar lebar
  18. hey dudes, lets not hijack the lady's thread, heres a thread to answer all your cowies and boxies questions. http://www.wetwebmedia.com/boxfishes.htm i've kept this current specimen for abt 2 months now, you're right, they're half pigs... eats mysis, brine, nori...even macroalgae i put for the tangs. i think your point of concern would be: "The family is also notable for some members possession of "ostracitoxin" a toxic discharge substance of some trunkfishes. If/when sufficiently disturbed whole tanks, and recirculating systems of livestock have been wiped out. Though this is rare, the cautions listed elsewhere in this piece on netting, acclimation, and tankmates should be heeded if you intend to try a trunk/boxfish." i'm not sure if the cow fits in the above category of "some members of the ostraciidae family though....
  19. 6x2x2 3 skunk cleaners, 2 fire shrimp 3 camel/dancing 2 boxers/coral banded kinda hope they pair up, fry is good food for fishes when they spawn
  20. how deep is your sand bed? the final product of denitrification is nitrogen, so it might be nitrogen escaping.
  21. here's a pic of mine, i paid $4 only, i wouldn t pay more than $10 unless its the black strain type i feed them frozen mysis and brine shrimp.
