  1. Had the same problem when I started using them. If you knead it like 5 mins and let it settle for another 5 mins, it will help minimize it from breaking down so easily.
  2. Whoa! So sweet. The creator if this contraption will know for sure
  3. Nice review! i have the poor mans version curve 7 and my skimmate look more like pee rather than the kopi-O that you get. Cheers
  4. How big is your main tank? One sq inch per gallon is a rough guide without considering bio-load. Mine is only 10" x 8". It's also running from water feeding into sump.
  5. Not really .. Had both during my initial startup ... Both fade away about the same time . Only demsels survives really well.
  6. Found! Thanks for looking. Cheers

This a diy made up of the elbow pvc and the divider thing that you can get from Daiso
  12. Pencil urchins... Reef ok but they tend to knock over frags that's not glued to the rocks. Cleans up the live rocks clean clean though
  13. For ati, there is also a 6 tube version which is already very bright. Using a 2ft 4 tube sunpower, no issues with light penetration into my 22" deep tank
  14. Yes. Used it myself with no issues .
  15. It only your 3rd day .. Don't worry too much about it. Cycling takes at least a month to complete. You can add a market prawn to speed it up abit. Since you are using nsw, you can get ca supplements to boost it up. Meantime you can monitor your parameters 2-3 times weekly to monitor your cycling process. Patience is key at this stage. But there is no shortcut to proper cycling.
  16. Maybe you can try to source for the alteco brand underwater epoxy from hardware suppliers... Much more cheaper than aquarium brands and stickier.
  17. It's great if you can bring in live stock into your country. Here in Singapore.. It's a definite no no unless you have a license to do it.
  18. At lck many royal gamma, real peppermint shrimps and loads of other tangs n angels that I can't id.
  19. Wow! What good growth rates for your sps! Wish mine grow as well as yours..
