Trying out the xicato light on some shrooms, i wonder is there any min. Lux level we shld look out for when using led? The current lux is 1000lm... no sign of bleaching so far,still testing out...on some guniea pigs...

I dont knw why they call it aussie blastos normally single head, when there are usually signs of fragging and dead skeleton beside the head.

How you mount your LED

My led and T5 are seperate sets but they are both 2 feet. The space are actually quite tight in my hood. Wife says no hanging of lights allow

I am actually using 2 feet lights for 3 feet tank. But the coverage is quite ok since it is shallow tank.

It is the same way you hang in your hood, just tht my hood is cantilever.. But i have not seem a 2nd person do the same as me, as they fear the hood might break.

Shallow tank and cantilever hood gives great viewing pleasure... but cannot keep big fish due to low height as they might commit sucide..
