How long has it been since you change your water?

I notice that your mushroom is quite high up. If you change water, I guess your mushroom will be expose to the air.

If will take a bit of time for the mushroom to open again.

That not exactly true. small tanks can do without filter provided you do weekly water change of like 30-50% and due to the size, it possible to change 50%. by changing the water, you dillute the waste thus reducing the excess NO3 etc...

I presume you're not having a chiller too

May I know what is the water temperature ?

Me also interested in adding mushrooms and other inver. however, couldn't affort any chiller
