Brain Corals and Prata

I had tried two times on having brains corals but they keep dying.. meaning the skeleton slowly appear....... I heard they required normal lighting and normals requirement... but i still fail.. plss help...

As for prata... wat is their requirement???

check water parameter... brains wun die so easily.. mayeb high nitrate.. change water also...

And they also need feedings of mysis shrimps or just bits of prawn meat....

hmm yah.. but i nv feed the brain...haha i just leave it there and do water change every 2 wks... open until fat fat...feel like playing with it..hahaha

Any meaty foods of marine origin would do. I feed during lights off..when they extend their tentacles...easier to feed then.

maybe it your lights....

try to feed them when the lights are off i thin they tend to eat at night

I think for brain...seem like they prefer strong lights....Mine is recovering now and I could see the flesh slowly covering up the skeleton.....but very slowly. Its been recovering ever since I introduce MH and relocating it to higher ground.

Some reefer also advise that it probably because of high NO2 & NO3!! so change water more often....

SO mean need good lightning and need to feed to keep them 'healthy and not dying? of course good water condition also.

Coz i also intedn to have one and i saw from web it's a very easy to keep coral but would like to verify with peeps who have kept b4.
