Very nice fishes..unique n magical look.. I like the scissor look tail.. Are they called yellowmask angel? Tot yellowmask angel aka Blueface..

Those are G. Semifasciatus angels or called Japanese Swallowtail Angel or in sg sometimes called yellowmask cause of the male's mask. People will call blue face as blue face. There are many other overlapping names such as purple moon, half moon which could imply either an asfur, maculosus or even a venustus angel.

Nice pair bro. Have u noticed the male colours fading or reverting to a sub-male colour ever since u got it? Or has it been holding its colour well?

1. Ad Hoc Picture taken my my iPhone ... not good turn out.

2. My Valentini Puffer is a vain pot .. he seems to appear always out of nowhere..

btw regal is difficult to keep? Saw pasir fish farm selling fw yellow belly but believe all still not eating pellet yet...

very tempted to get 1...any advise?

Be patience and get a Regal which is already feeding at the LFS, best if feeding pellets.

If you buy one that's not feeding, high chance it won't make it.

Think i saw a few yw ones at TFC.. Mine has been with me for nearly a year.. Like they said, choose a feeding one...

Been too busy to comment seperately, but I wanted to thank all of you for showing their angels. Truly beautifull! Spawning interruptus was a treat!

Thanks Jamie.... I have managed to capture a short clip but sadly not the releasing of eggs as the flash from the camera is interrupting the spawn but please enjoy :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I got this pair on Aug13 they come very poor condition and in my QT for 6 weeks to recover back and start feeding ... im the lucky one ... :P

After release to my main tank the color start fading and lost the tiger bar me worry it will back to female ...

But it show up the tiger bar after few months now and color become nicer oso grow bigger and very fat now ... :P
