Hi Kanegan, how do you maintain the nutrients level if you go skimmer less? Do you have a secret recipe to share? :)

Hee hee... I don't dare to share as I would be considered a heretic by many bros.

I will only say skimmer is not the only thing missing from my system and I have lots of chaeto.

Yesterday was shopping day.

Added coco worm, six line wrasse, 2 chromis and some sps from MASS frag sale.

got to becareful with the six line wrasse....mine bullying my clown fish end up got to catch them into breeder box while i wait for the wrasse to swim into the diy 100 plus btl trap.

If u have other wrasses, not from the fairy family, they might fight & bully the other til death.

New tank syndrome very normal, it will be much stable after a year. Avoid adding more fishes and concentrate on husbandry, flow and nutrients exporting in the tank. End result will be more rewarding.
