Did some rearranging and placed my alveopora on the sandbed in the centre. Been with me for a couple of months and got a little bleached due to the strong lights I think but still showing healthy polyp extension Posted ImagePosted Image

A very surprising discovery of my green monti cap. After all the aquarium lights are turned off, I went to view the monti cap on normal warm lights from my living room

and noticed the rims are a nice purple which appears white normally under

thanks bro. Really enjoyable journey when you start to see the fruits of your labour. Still plenty to learn though every time something goes wrong. Haha

And yes, I love plating montis as they help create a more natural look in the tank.

yes bro, how could I forget. Certainly seeing much better polyp extensions and colours since using Acropower but I still can't be 100% certain if it's because of the product or husbandry or mix of both. No harm trying though.

  • 4 weeks later...

Can't hide my joy. After having my clown fishes for so many years and through 2 tanks, they have finally decided to breed.

Some updates of my tank. Not much changes except some growth here and there.

Will try to do a comparison of growth pics when I have time

since I have just past 6 months of the new tank.

Meantime, just 2 FTS

Thanks guys.

Aside: something really bizarre just happened. My Banggai Cardinal tried to swallow a chromis of its sizePosted ImagePosted Image

the Banggai Cardinal was like gagging before it managed to let go of the chromis.

Even more amazing is the chromis is now back swimming around
