I agree with the bros that there are too many rocks that it looks too overwhelming and one-dimensional. It would look better to remove some rocks and you have the space to rescape it to create a more 3D effect with mountains and valleys, islands, overhangs and caves etc, to make it more interesting for viewers and fishes.

Aquarium 3 - 250 liters with sump and refugium

Jebao DC 6000 pump with speed controller

Skimz skimmer

AI Hydra 52 HD

Hailea HS-66A (1/4 hp) chiller

Maxspect Gyre

TLF Phosban reactors with Phosban

Tunze nano osmolator

Marine Magic Triplet Dosing

Aquarium 1 - 27 litres

Atman HF-0600 HOB filter

Maxspect Razor Nano 60W (10,000 K)

AOL 60 litres chiller

Tunze Nano Osmolator

Thanks bros for ur advices! However, I have eproxy some of the rocks together.. Might be quite challenging to rescape at the moment.. Tank has just settled down and e LPS all seems to be all doing well today and the fishes are swimming in n out of the current caves, Especially e bigger one in e middle.I will observe the flow for a while more and see if there's any changes and buildup of algae at e lower flow areas.

Here's some photos, added a GSP frag from AM and a blue gonorio (hopefully it opens soon, heard this species are tough to open)

Finally added the tangs from my QT. happily eating pellets mysis brine shrimp and seaweed :) LPS looking quite good too. Just that e blue gonorio still hasn't extended yet. Any bros have any tips to share on its placement? Think maybe flow rate is too much for them there.post-21059-0-27111000-1372523316_thumb.j

I recently added a gonio and did some reading up on replacement. Most articles recommended on sandbed but a few said can be on rocks mid way of tank. Need good lighting and not too strong flow. Sharing my 0.000002 cents worth :)

Mine always crawl over corals when feeding.

Now they go for pellets and never service the tangs -.-

^5 mine in my nano at home does the same thing too.. Hopefully its because my Tang is too 'clean'

  • 2 weeks later...

Finally decided for a razer 160w instead of T5s! Hopefully it will colour up e corals soon! Anyway, should I still keep my current aquazonic t5s to supplement? Perhaps using jus 2 of e blue bulbs instead of all 4?

Too busy setting up. Din get to take some photos before leaving office. Will post some tomorrow!

The 160w will suffice but will be even better if u supplement it with t5.but use quality bulbs like ATI and not the aquazonic bulbs. Incorrect spectrum or early shifting of spectrum will give u algae problems.
