Recommendations for LFS in BKK

Hi reefers,

heard from a friend that the fish section in ChatuChak park is gone.

Anyone been BKK recently and has recommendations for interesting LFS to visit?

I'm planning a trip there.

It was still thriving with more than 10 Marine LFS as of a forthnight ago.

Interesting! My friend just went there a few weeks ago. Guess no harm for me to drop by to confirm. Any other LFS worth the visit in BKK?

Confirm there is several shops selling marine stuffs. They are among the fresh water stuffs.

So you need to explore a bit.

They are at the so call Sunday Market section if you know what i'm saying. Don't search in the main JJ market area.

Hope this help. The red circled area is where all the pets, aquarium, etc are located.

The black arrow location is where Siam Reef Club shop is.

Look for the direction to JJ Mall and it is easy to find after that.

It is really a maze inside the market and you can easily get loss . As what thomas said try looking for the JJ mall building which is much easier to find. There is also one big freshwater aquarium shop located in the basement of JJ mall worth checking out.

ching chai gave me this. but will only be going nxt trip. chatuchak really a maze when i was there. shops openning at 1pm.

Also there seems to be no SPS on sale. Only LPS.

i think sps is ban from.local sale. they only can import for reefing

You need some locals to bring you around to see the Gems while you are there.

for the gems that can be purchase and bring to singapore legally are only the fishes and softies. not so much for the purchase i guess....

Price too high. It's ok if on the way see see. Not worth it if specially for that.
