Got this LR of 18 babies anemones, what does they feed on? I tried cutting small bits of prawns for them, but they like take ages to consume them, maybe too big for their mouth. Any food recommendation?

but seriously i think it's manjano....when they are bigger...you can even see purple on their bodies..very nice...but...they like walking around

Right, I think I'll put them in the sump for quarantine first.

James

Mine accidently acquired one didnt walk ard... It just stay put at it original place... My 2 cents..

it is just like an anemone...if it is not happy..it moves around..hehe

u try turning the rock away from the light..and u will it it facing the light again the next few days..hehe

the reason why it is a pest is because it reproduces and replicates much easier than normal nice anemones....

if you have a manageable tank....easy to take it out...but if you have a giant tank like morgan's ....it is no joke handling these anemones....

I think I have 2 similar kinds.. But no green tip leh.. is it the same one? They can stretch very long towards the light. Very small. One dun seem to move at all. The other moves but rarely..

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Aaaargh :cry: Before long they'll be all over your tank, hiding in your rocks, stinging you corals and your fish, basically become a real pest.

I bought one rock with almost 20 of them a few months ago. Like the colour but didn't exactly know what it was. After placing it tank, they start to dislodge and move all over the tank  You can't remove them as they will shrink into your rocks crevice. Beware.

I dun see whats his problem now since if they are on one rock, just FW dip the whole rock lah.. see them bloat up and explode one by one... :P
