Purple Reef Lobster Eating Dog Face Puffer

Does anyone know whether a purple reef lobster will die if it consumes a dog face puffer?

I just saw mine eating my juvenile dog face puffer...

My hermit crab ate the puffer fish and he is still alive

Hmm... Quite difficult to remove the dead puffer - it's deep inside some LRs right behind the tank.

It end up of resetting up again. All inhabitants died.

By the way, I did a 50% WC to dilute the toxins if it's really there...

From what I have read, no fish have a martyrdom mechanism, it's just the nitrates which rise too drastically for most fish to handle which kills them. Not so sure tho, just thought this may help

My nitrates seems to be ok... No algae boom and tests also ok. But if it's so I hope my 50% WC has helped.
