Powered up the skimmer and fr to just circulate sump.

Rocks should be dried white by tomorrow, gonna place in, add the rest of the di water and salt, and cycling would commence. :-)

Hmm, Your Hob is gonna cause micro bubbles if the water drops back down from that height, defeating the purpose of the buffle u have from 2nd to return chamber. Can Consider attaching a mesh to it, so water trickles down instead and use it as an algae scrubber. brilliant! Anyway i see u have your lamp already set facing it.

Yeah I'm actually looking for a tube or sponge that will allow it to drop down instead. Actually using it as a mini Refugium, not an ats. Gonna put my chaeto there

Yup i reckoned it was meant to be a mini refugium, just u can double it up as a ats by placing a mesh there. Just an idea

U can get e slightly harder plastic mesh from art friend. Think he meant attach it to the hang on refugium so the water can flow down. Pretty good idea actually. Making full use of it

Look great bro..hope ur left side rock scape have enough current flowing thru them as I rem seeing a T joint return near the tank bottom thats hiding behind now..not enough flow will have death spot n bad thing grow there..your rock scape look like for reef tank with small fishes..imho, ur right side rock scape can make a bit more 3D with bigger holes n caves instead of a flat look now..cheers
