Btw bro, do you use biopellets or just rowaphos/carbon?

i was using biosphere in a media bag... but i think the flow wasn't enough cos there was some hydrogen sulphide build up. i recently changed to putting it in a minimax reactor.... but thinking of just switching to biopellets since i have a reactor.... i also run rowaphos and carbon

Hi. Do you mix the 3 in the same reactor or separate?

The biospheres in one reactor and the rowaphos and carbon in another... But separated by a layer of foam

Just changed 2 days ago... apparently you have to soak the pellets for a day or two before using other wise they will all float up. But its ok now... I'm using abt 50ml and they are churning very nicely in the minimax

Thanks for the info bro.. If in this case.. I can save a lot of space in my sump already with the minimax reactor....

Bro Bunster, I've tried the reactor after your affirmation :D

do you experience thin pellets floating to the top of the reactor?

I've tried reducing the flow on the pump and the reactor itself, some still float up and stuck at the sponge area.
