Did u gotten both gramma as a pair.

Yes, I got them as a pair

This is my current full tank shot

fts-1_zpsb5efc990.jpg

Still very bare. Tank is about a month old now. Had a bit of brown diatoms on the sand but that seems to be clearing. Hoping to add more lps along the way.

Tank parameters:

Temp 26.5

Ph 8.3

Salinity 1.024

Kh 9.9 (salifert)

Calcium 400 (salifert)

Ammonia 0 (salifert)

Nitrate: 0.2 (salifert)

I added this euphyllia (was told its a hammer by GO) a week ago... Doesnt seem to be doing so well. One of the heads has retracted. I've tried placing it everywhere, but it never seems to be happy.

euphyllia-1_zps04fbf292.jpg

My maxspect peak settings are a/b 45%/45%. The other corals are doing fine, so I'm not sure what else to do. Any advice?

Hi Bro Your Peak is 45% but You Have to see the light distance from water to fixture..Its very low therefore 45% is quite powerfull..

But i dont think that is gotta do with anything..Thats a Octopus? Hammer? How do you keep those Parameters Stable? could be a flux

One more test your forgot Haha Its Magnesium..

cheers!

It look more like an octopus to me.

Thanks for the advice bros. I've tuned down the light to 40% on both channels. For maintenance, I've been doing 20% water change weekly with red sea pro salt and distilled water. Just got red sea reef A & B to try to buff up calcium and alk. Yes, will get Mg and PO4 test kits next.

This coral never seemed very healthy since I got it. Think that head is totally gone... dont even see any polyps now.

Try to use more of your blue & less of your white channels, will give your corals better fluorescence effects.

Wow. Really impressed with the super sun! I didn't know the glow under blue light!

Thanks everyone! They don't really glow under blue light. I took that shot with an iphone and then instagrammed it. Everything looks blue under 16k on the phone. Took the rest of the pics with a proper camera.
