Missing all the update here.. didn't have much changes to the system except adding more corals mainly frags from friends and from my own tank. ( trying to save money in this setup heehee.. )

Algae situation improving?

 

 

Yes thanks for asking. I think I might have discovered the cause of the cyno issue in this tank. Since the bio load is relatively small, and I am ultizing algae tuff scrubber and chaeto for my nutrient export together with bio pallets.

The excess carbon source from the bio pallets could be the source of the issue and once I remove the bio pallets , everything is getting better and better now including the hair algae.
