Most silicone take 24 hours to fully cure. Especially if it's those meant for use with water. It will be better to wait, in my opinion.

Sorry, i do not know of any silicone that you can be used within  few hours.

A common aquarium safe one is  'Selleys window and glass sealant'. As mentioned by Tuajia, most are acetic cure sealants & need about 48 hours for it to release all the acid.

You also need to select one that does not have fungicide and should not be paintable.

On 2nd thought, may want to custom make a new sump cater to my need since the current one is slightly small. Do alantic custom make sump tank? Or do u know any contact and roughly the cost for 1 about 2ft size. Thanks
