Was using a Resun CL450 (bad choice, I know <_< ) but I'll most probably get a new one. The Tecos look promising :P

450? you sure that tiny chiller can cool your tank.... I thought your 4 footer should use at least a Cl-650. maybe your chiller run too much thats why got problem liao

why must all the fans be working?

Just 1 tunze in the main tank will do. The rest can be stop while you head off for a new chiller tomorrow.

Pumps you mean

I had to run them as my whole tank will go beserk and the single Tunze is not enough to give sufficient currents. Currently, tank is running at 28.6 degrees

Yes, I only have a single Tunze

Coupled with my return pump and rock structure, I get quite a lot of flow

Also spotted a nudi on my purple rim cap. Sucked it out using a syringe already and I'm hoping I'll not find anymore <_<

Eh there is a saying:for every nudi you see... they are at least 10more you can't see hiding somewhere

So far I've quarantined the monti cap and I had checked for the eggs

Lucky mine is just a frag or else I'll have trouble.

The ###### was fun though

The chiller guy is coming over to fix the chiller later so if it still does not work, I'll probably get a Pacific Coo ;)

I hope you have QT the monti in a separate system from your main tank.

Got reefers with experience that this nutri spread like wild fire one :P

Think of it also scared. Heard got reefer need to frag their monti like hell and yet still lost the battle.

Yeah it is in another tank under 2x55w PLs ;)

So far the other montis have not shown signs of stress for tissue necrosis B)

Blenny: I've sent the samples to the Life Sciences Research Lab and waiting for the results (I'm excited too!!)

Going to have a temporary chiller tonight

Ordered a Pacific Coo ;)

3 casualties: Orange mille (slight STN), Purple rim (RTN+nudi) and WS turquoise acro (RTN):cry::cry:

Lesson learnt: Do not skimp on a chiller. You'll regret it :(

Bro, I know how you feel! :(

I ve the same experienced, last may, out of

30 colonies 1/3 rtn n up lorry and 1/2 show

sign of stn. Glad that over, now using 1/2 hp

Pacific Coo( previous was 1/2 hp sunsun). B)

Will be upgrading soon as the heat load from

my 3 x 250w and pumps do slow down the

cooling capacity. <_<

Seems like your casualties are even more than mine. Feel sorry for you bro.

Do those colonies grow back?

And for today's inspection, no nudis found in tank and in quarantine.

Also a question here: My TDS meter reads 1ppm output but I know that usually it is measured in microsiemens so how is the conversion?

No worries bro, those which STN do grow back and the

brown is picking up colour slowly. :P

All you have to do is maintain the water perimeter......

.......no secret remedies.

I post some of the pix in my thread, especially

tenuis and nana do show alot of potential. :paiseh:

yeah...tell me about it....i 'suck' every night, frag like hell, superglue all the holes i can file, FW some of the monti (which of course died... :( ).....

6 months later, after moving to a new tank with no new monti added, it still appears......final course of action for me is to add in 3 yellow warrase....seems to help....
