Is it the needlewheel? Then you have to adjust the red knob until the water goes to a height just below the edging of the joint where the collection cup sits.

waterlevel just below the long neck... bubbles tune to 30%? so that it has less turbulence at the surface of the water for fine foam to form and so that the foam will have sufficient time to lose the moisture so that dry foam will come out when it is pushed out of the neck.. if air intake too reat the foam formed will be pushed up very quickly and wet skimmate will be acheived.

no need to waste time to feed individual corals lah...switch of your return pump and flood your tank...after 20mins turn the return pump back on...hehehehe

Hehe... i did something very bo liao today. My father wanted to throw away his computer table.. So instead, i dismantled his table and used the wood planks to do a fake cabinet for my tank using rod iron as its base structure.... You all dun laugh ah when you see the results... haha but please give opinions also k?

Using very simple technology... RUBBER BANDS and THUMB TAGS.... to roughly keep the planks in place and not let them fall when wind blows...

But i think yur rubber bands may break soon.. they usually dun last long under stress.

why dont u paint it to the color of your hood... like that will make it look nicer...

also why not use fishing line rather then rubber band

Yah brothers.... i was thinking of using something stronger instead of rubberbands... but need to go and buy.. maybe use fishing line.. cos transparent mah...

Anyway this one do for fun one... hehe now my hands under stress from the strong vibrations from my electric saw... hehe can't feel my keyboard.. hehe

Not bad at all.... It would probably look much better if u paint those with a primer/varnish that matches the hood color.

Hmm quite difficult to paint to the colour of my hood... as the colour of my hood is used with clear varnish...

So the fake cabinet colour and the hood different colour... so i need to source for a varnish almost the same colour as my hood... sian... what colours to recommend ah?

Drill into my stand? Hmm i was thinking of that too.. but i was wondering whether will it affect the support of the stand? I scared wait i drill already the whole stand collapsed....

think no need to drill into stand lah... use epoxy and epoxy the hinge onto the stand.

don't worry too much about it...

how about heavy duty velcro?

and cheap hinges?
