Aiyah!!! Why did I miss this part!!!??? :o

Some of my blastomussa wellisi polyps are less than 50cent coin... :huh:

In that case, mine cannot be the wellisi liao...and since I paid dirt for it, shouldn't fall into the category of merletti...so how? what's mine? :rolleyes:

I paid cheapo prices for some unknown corals? :(:angry:

$280....... :ph34r::fear:

piangz.... I can't tell the difference between a merletti and a non-merletti... give me the coral, and i'll just chuck it together with my other blastos. But then again, perhaps i would put a little flag with the $280 price tag next to it to remind me. :lol:

anyway, it was a price agreed between two willing parties. ex or not, it's up to them to judge. Maybe the guy wanted to clear wallet space..... :o;) Anyway, I'm such a novice at this hobby that I dun quite catch what the hype is all about...... think i have lots to catch up on.

:peace:

I think some people got to understand that there are differences between wellsi and merletti including the type of conditions they like to live in too. For me, i keep two different types wellsi and merletti thats why i observed the difference in their taste of the life they like.

I asked for that price because mine is already a pineapple. so given for the effort and everything, it is a long journey here. and the difference between a merletti and a wellsi is its availability. So far i have not noticed any merletti around since the time i bought it.. all are wellsi because of their flat and non-bushy look. Seeing is believing.. if you think yours are a merletti then post it up here.. see if yours got any organ pipes which the polyps stick onto and polyps have that kind of physical features. Wellsi is not merletti you may get ketok by the owner but price doesnt make a wellsi turn into a merletti. It the physical features that counts... ;)
