Show Your SPS/MIxed Reef Tanks II

With the recent post by Reefer Guy, Tuan (though not local) and Scarab in RC...

Would really love to see some local SPS tanks or SPS/Mixed Reef tanks!

(No need to go scroll thru each member's tank thread)

Do provide some simple specs if possible

Would be great to learn from you guys here

I'll start first:

SPS/MIXED REEF

Tank size: 3 X 2 X 2 (4 plus months old)

Sump: 2X1X1

Tank Temp: 27- 28 degrees (Pac. Coo Chiller)

Skimmer: RM Miniature Skimmer driven by MD40(Resun)

Ca Reactor: RM Ca Reactor

Flow: 2 X 6060, 1 X 820 SEIO and Return from MD40(Resun)

Currently still on Zeovit. into 16weeks.

Lighting: 1 x 250w 10kk mh(updgrading to 2), 2 x 20kk Aquaz T5 + 2 X T5 Aquaz actinic

Tank size: 4 X 2.5 X 2 (6 plus months old)

Sump: 3X1.5X1.5

Tank Temp: 26- 28 degrees (Reef Relief Chiller)

Skimmer: AquaC EV-200 driven by MD55(Resun)

Ca Reactor: Korallin 3002

Flow: 2 X 6060, 1 X 6110, chiller return eheim 1262 and Return from MD55(Resun)

Lighting: 2 x 250w 10,000k mh, 1 x 400w 10,000k mh + 1 4ft actinic fl (moonlight)

Tank size: 6 x 2.5 x 2.5 ( 1 yr old)

Sump: 3X1.5X1.5

Tank Temp: 25 degrees (Artica 1hp Chiller)

Skimmer: Deltec AP902 with Eheim 1262 feed

Ca Reactor: Deltec PF1000

Flow: 3 X 6100 with 7094 Multicontroller, Iwaki MD55 return pump, Eheim 1262 Secondary Return

Lighting: 3 x 250w BLV 10,000k Mh, 2 x 58W FL Actinics

Zeovit for the past 5 months

DB, I love the congested look of your reef. There's hardly any visible

rocks or sandbed. Love it. :wub:

I believe many of your corals are touching each other. Would you like

to start a thread to showcase which corals are "friendly" with each other?

This might be good visual reference for everyone to learn about which

corals can get along with which.

In terms of spread and great scaping ....I dun have the luxury like Alfa and Reefer Guy...they have great tanks with superb scaping filled with jaw-dropping candy sticks :shock: Kudos to their efforts in keeping a great reef tank!!!

So my appears very very packed ;) (my tank is half that of Alfa's)

For the soli table.... I am the third owner...think it took the prvious owner at least a year to reach this growth...hope I dun lose it(Gulp!)

William..I will do so. Friendly neighbour thread will be started soon. Maybe guys here can start first :D

More..More....More SPS/Mixed Reef tanks!!!

Sump: 30X16X22 Inch

Tank Temp: 25.8- 27.8 degrees (Reef Relief Chiller)

Skimmer: Dual beckett 8x44 From I-aqua driven by MX100

Ca Reactor: Korallin 3002

Flow: 1 x TS7, chiller return eheim 1260 and Return Quiet1 5800L

Lighting: 2 x 250w 10k mh, 1 x 150w 20k mh + 4xT5 Blue

My old tank...decommissioned last year ard July -August period

Tank size: 4 x 2 x 2 ( 2 yr old BOW front tank)

Sump: 2X 1 X1

Tank Temp: 27 degrees (Resun CL650 to Pac Coo .5hp)

Skimmer: Beckett driven by MD55(Resun)

Ca Reactor: RM 1st genertion Ca Reactor

Flow: 2 X 6060 with 2X SEIO 820

Lighting: 2 x 250w Hamilton Tech SE 14KK Mh, 1 x Coralife Actinic

Sump: 4X2X1.8

Tank Temp: 27 degrees (Artica 1/2hp Chiller)

Skimmer: Aerofoamer 830 powered by iwaki mx-100 (Tee-off to chiller)

Ca Reactor: DIY Korallin 4002

Flow: 2 X tunze stream 6100 , 4 x tunze turbelle 4002, return pump RD 12m3

Lighting: 3 x 250w Phoenix 14,000k Mh, 2 x 80W T5 Narva blue2

Forgot to mention, dunno why cannot get a correct colour pix leh... My cam sux?

Totally amazed how many colonies can actually go into a 4 footer. Cool cool reef tank...
