Anyone Using 3 Feet Tank With 6mm Glass

I'm getting 1 you see.....

8mm all sides....and when I go to those LFS...the feeling like...plastic......not those real glass

Tank: 5 X 2 X 2.5

Sump : 3 X 1.5 X 1.8

are you guys those got 3 feet....using just like those..at the LFS...$35 per tank...plastic feeling when knocking it....

i believe its not about the lr or sand weight that will affect it, its about the volume of water. sand weight is distributed on the whole area of your tank base and lr are dead gravitational weight. your water on the other hand, exerts force on all sides of your tank. now the difference is its weight, 6mm tanks are usually meant for freshwater coz salt water due to its salinity content.

I asking those who are using 6mm...and there's a fw of them.....

I'm not going to use 6mm anyway....I'm just asking opinions

ya...nowadays..those tanks r u plastic mixed with glass....been to a few LFS and knock their tanks.....does not have the feel of glass....
