i'm quite sure it's a virus cause both norton and avg anti-virus progs detected it as a trojan horse virus... i can't del it in windows, i can't del it in command prompt.

meanwhile, i've used both ad-aware and spybot to cross scan my system.

so with this bugger left out, i'm certain he's the root of my problem.

nonetheless, thanks tineng for your suggestion.

the antivirus probably will let you know which file it cannot disinfeact.....try booting up the system in safe mode and manually delete the file....if not you have to find out the name of the virus and search the net for manual removal methods....

Yea..find out the name of the virus. Then go sites like Symantec or Trend Micro which offer on-site manual instructions. Involves fiddling around with the registry and manually deleting the files though. Quite easy to follow if you got the time. ;)

You may like to try F-secure Anti-virus 2005 if after all the software still cant remove it..Its defiently spyware. some search bar helping u to Auto browse that webiee..

elitebar. = Mywebsearchbar. This is found in my com mths back, have been vanished off by Mircosoft anti-spyware and F0secure anti virus 2005

trojan= Its a new spyware created recently, my software dected it too.and after reading info abt it, someone in th easten part of the world created it.Hacker./etc ;)

and now, yrs is trojan horsE?? It might be a newer version..check it out its background histroy.

and destroy it..Better stop it b4 it stops yr operating system.and speards to other components..

Hikackthis is helpful in helping u to see wads wrong with your internal/external processes.

To me,norton cant do much by clearing up,it only can identify

As to where u got it

Its some Fully loaded spywares webiee that takes u long to upload a page, spywares are behing the scene, like friendster,etc..
