SRC Member cool water Posted September 17, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted September 17, 2003 Not JBL, it go mad with my one (reading 800ppm) . salifert is the best S$38 give you very accurate reading. $ is everything ( no $ no good reading). Mellow
sorry to hijack too...but how abt JBL dKH test kit with Salifert's dKH test kit? which is better? apparently, the boss of SL said that salifert not that good because by the time the testkit reach singapore, some of the reagent might have been contaminated... most probably with the surrounding air. He showed me one where the reagent totally dried up as well... any comments? Quote "Save a reef, grow your own"
SRC Member onghm Posted September 17, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted September 17, 2003 The reagent bottle comes sealed. How could it possibly dried up ? Anyway, I've been receiving mine in good condition. Its my 2nd box already

Ammonit
derf: Salifert Calcium testkit is out of stock at Clementi 24hrs shop and even at ML pospeh: there is a 24 hrs aquarium shop located in clementi. onghm: tried checking at eaquanature but under Salifert testkit, I could find the calcium tester Mellow: If Salifert could contamimated during it's shippment to Singapore, so can JBL since it's also comes from oversea. I guess that particular piece he showed you might not be sealed properly. I have tried sera, tetra and salifert. I think so far only salifert cover a wide range of test and accuracy.
