Hey I think the ship looks pretty cool man... should look pretty authentic (although wrong scale) when it gets encrusted in coraline and stuff...

Not too sure about what it's leaching into the water though. haha...

As for the clam, get really sharp razor carefully cut off the threads that hold it to the ship, then let it settle again on a nice piece of rock or crevice...
