where can i get mysis shrimp?

The common ones found are the frozen mysid shrimps. And they can be found at any LFS for about $2-2.50 per tray of about 30 cubes. If I remember, the brand is Hikari.

100gm of mysis from the market cost $1...the mass is about 3 times

of those we buy from 1 pack from lfs....no water added..

those days we can even get mysis shrimps still breathing from wet markets

how to differentiate mysis and brine shrimp??

as far as i know, brine shrimp is not favourable for marine livestock rite ?

Mysis has more nutrition than brine shrimp...and brine shrimp is more like tibits for fishing.

Newly hatched brine shrimp are higher in nutritions due to the york sac which they still carry. Once they grow bigger, the york sac is used up. After this stage, they're like fast food to fishes. The fishes still love it though!

I bought the frozen brine or mysis shrip for $1.50 per pack. Thats the cheapest i can find.

Mysis is white in colour and brine is reddish.

Brine shrimp has little or no nutritional value. You can find them in most LFS in Spore.

If you cannot find them, then uses finely chopped prawns will be good enough.

frozen brine or mysis go for $1.50 a rack or $16 for a styrofoam box of 12 racks
