Help need - advise also can

I have this return pump, was running it for about 1 year. Bought 2nd hand from fellow reefer. Was doing maintenance. Then after that when touch the water, got mild electric shock, checked then start to turn on all electrical stuff then slowly tun on one by one to check, then realised it is the return pump. Dismantle and then let it dry. Question now is that should I try to reconnect this pump back? Because the current one I am using is a little underpowered, may not have enough flow back to the main tank. Please advise.

Think its safer to get a new pump. Current leakage from pumps would mean that the insulation is compromised.
