wah...dun say that la, most of my info from all the lao chiao in this forum one le.

Seriously, without the info sharing concept in this forum, i would have crashed the tank several times now, kill a lot of fishes, and decompose plenty of corals The only thing i do is read here and there, filter and use, and really pay attention to all the livestock i have, in trying to max their potential. I got 'easy' corals, so not a big issue

Maybe you'll like to entice it to open with cyclopeeze for a start. As mentioned, mine was shut for a long time, until i bought my first can of cyclopeeze to feed my fish..and it was then i realised that my sun coral still alive

its stinks enough to even make my black sun coral open its first time in my tank...and this is how the beauty look like everynight now..

Hi Ong...yes very tempted. But the thought of feeding around 40 polyps on the orange sun coral, one by one, everyday, makes my hands weak, and me sleepy

when the suncoral sense food, the tentacles will come out. Release the food near it tentacles.

Yup...feeding one by one...

Yup...can try DT but I feed them cyclopeeze with a pipette...

the tentacles will just draw the food in and they start to close up...within minutes...voila...they open gloriously...

But I heard cyclopeeze quite difficult to find right?? So where did you get yours?

As far as I can remember...Ocean Planet, Reborn and Marine life also have...

Sun coral does not feed on DT.....they require more meaty type food like brine shrimps, mysis and others.
