carpet anemone

Was told this is a carpet anemone. Brown in color but photograph under actinic.

this is not a carpet.....its more to bubble tip anemone

I already suspect it's a BTA but I bought from SL and he told me it is carpet. I came home look and look still not convinced so I called him yesterday and reconfirm and he told me it's carpet lol.

My clown host it immediately and even bring the market prawn to feed it.

how much u pay for it? how big is it?

pay $8 for it. I choose the smallest avaliable. When out of water about 3cm and when fully open abt 6cm. I quite poor in judging the size but it is a small one.

under BLV 10KK it is just plain brown color like my frogspawn.

when to coral farm to get a BTA today,but after i bought it and look at the receipt given,it stated it as green carpet anemone..

i went back to ask and they said that the common name is BTA but its actually carpet anemone.. maybe thats why SL told u that?

BTA = Bubble Tip Anemone. Carpet Anemone does not have such long tenticles. Instead, it is just like a carpet, usually lives in muddy area.

I think mine has found a place it liked. The foot is sticked to the under side of the rock which is shaded then stretch itself out and the tentacles are baking in the lights. Does this sound more like a BTA than a carpet?
