Not satisfy with the water temperature, decide to remove all internal pumps:

- Maxi-Jet 1200, Flow Rate: 1100 L/h, power consumption: 14 watt

- Stock Pump, Flow Rate: 1000 L/h, power consumption: 9 watt

Connect Maxi-Jet 1200 externally:

Food containers elevate equipments for better air circulation, as well as shorten the water hose.

I saw these chillers in polyart Clementi, same row as C328. Din ask the price though but tempted.

Can share whats your water temp now?

Think for your tank can go for Koralia 1. My tank 15G only using K Nano liow and current is just nice.

After switching to external pump, the temp is 27 to 28.5 degree.

But that's what I've monitored for the past one day.

Need to monitor further.

Can't decide between:

1) Hydor Korolia Nano - Flow rate: 900L/h Power Consumption: 4.5W

2) Hydor Koralia K1 - Flow rate: 1500L/h Power Consumption: 4.5W

Logically should be K1, but Nano so cute!

Thanks!

As expected, flow in the tank weaken a lot (after switching to external pump).

Thinking of getting a low energy consumption wave wave maker.

What do you think about Hydor Korolia Nano?

post-5025-1218556189.jpg

Flow Rate: 900 L/h

Power Consumption: 4.5 watt

Any advice?

Its ok but think you should get K1 its better in terms of 24 gallon...

1ft cube with IOS [the low tech tank]

1. JBJ C-breeze to keep temp hovering around 27-28'C

2. LED clip on - 120 bulbs

-skimmer-less-

My 3 humble equipments that keeps my tank running... [DRIED OUT]

1. The RSM itself of course 2.My NEW Deltec MCE-300 Skimmer 3. My trusty Arctica Chiller

Tank parameters:

Temperature maintained at 25.3'C to 24.7'C

No3: 10ppm(b4 the use of the deltec skimmer)

No3: 5ppm (after use of the skimmer)

Others? too lazy to measure...LOL
