OMG! Look at these hybrids and rare fishes!

I'm from Penang,Malaysia so the lfs from Penang ... picture taken during 2008 and fish shipment from indonesia and selling RM25 about S$10 each ... fish about 3~4inch very big size ... thanks a lot for the ID ... :P

ok.

that'se pseudanthias charlenae.

used to be very rare and a new species. but they seem to be trickling into the trade in small quantities.

lovely alpha male specimens too.

some picture taken in lfs but can not find the ID ...

Beautiful charlenae anthias. I don't believe i've not seen it in Singapore.

But anyway do u find it to be an easy anthias to keep?

a Koi bodianus.

this one REALLY koi.

could this be like the st pauls rocks inbreeding?

Bodianus eclancheri. Not an aberrant. The patterns like freshwater koi differs from fish to fish, v interesting.

the personatus lives in one of the best japanese tanks ever. i love that tank! the ventralis are so amazing!

and i saw 2 pure lunatus fairy wrasse in thailand LFS display tank. they came from philippines not japan.
