Mushrooms are very hardy and require low light. I had LR which suddenly growing mushrooms from nowhere :eyebrow: Leathers and zoas are also a good choice but they require more light.

As dachkie mentioned 4 tubes of T5 is sufficient. You may want to have 3 tubes 10k and 1 tube actinic to enhance viewing pleasure of your corals. But have to warn you that after you start with soft corals, you later will backside itchy and try LPS. Then you will start thinking about upgrading the light and chiller. After that backside itchy again and try SPS... and the upgrading never stop :eyebrow:

i believe u have seem my mushies thrend..

currently running 4 X t5 however with no chiller only fan...

fan very cheap $30+ can get...

=)

Yup fan is cheap but minus point is the evaporation which will cause metal parts to rust very fast and flooring will be sticky as well.
