we're just lacking a local football god. someone to take over the role fandi used to occupy. they have this weekly middle pull out section in the newpaper doing all sorts of interviews, player profiles, etc etc. problem is no one knows who on earth are those players and prob don't give a damn about them. and the "highlights" that they're showing to advertise the singapore or s-league matches live, they're showing clips of our boys miskicking the ball, doing sliding tackles(which didn't get the ball, nor any legs in fact), or scoring the ugliest of goals. that doesn't really help attract interest. not the tv people's fault, cos the standard really is not there. there are just no "highlights" to show at all. can see they're putting a lot of effort to boost the popularity of local football. but it has to start on the field.

$$$$ talk, man utd board of director, have you seen the match ? does it make sense to you gooners now that more money must be invested on good players rather than to pay out more divended to the shareholders.

Rather than just depend only on youth team and a few unknown which may be good but lack the big match experience. Spend more to get good players after all when a team that is winning almost every match will generate more income.

I support man Utd, but we need better player and from what I see, we lack the killer instinct (just depending only on RVN is not good enough) and also lack of pace especially the striker department.

we need someone who can have the initial burst of speed like henry....who is as good as him ? <_<

Well..... Thats not the end of it. Come this Jan when the transfer window opens and at least 2 or 3 more will join. Who knows which players they wanna buy in July when the season is over. They can buy Ruud and Henry and then they will win the title for years to come......
