yongshun
nice! what lightings will u be using? thks bro, i will be using 2x150 14k MH and 2x21W of T5, artinic blue..my plan was to use the T5 as main lighting, MH as supplement, T5 on for 8 hrs, MH for 6 hrs, bt i haf a feeling tat the 21x2W if T5 doesnt seem to be enugh...though i will nt be kipin SPS (nt at the moment), basically kipin onli zoas, yumas, blastos and rics, bt i think they may not be enugh for a 26' depth tank...so may upgrade it in future to change to a 24x2W or 39x2W instead... SRC Member weishun Posted February 14, 2009 SRC Member Share Posted February 14, 2009 For what i know.... once silicon is cured... there is no known solvents which can effectively remove silicon smears. The last resort is to use a single edged fine blade to skillfully splice out the smears. This process have to be done very slowly so as to avoid leaving fine scratches on the tank surface.
