SRC Member iskay Posted March 24, 2009 SRC Member Share Posted March 24, 2009 "fish that eats poop".... that's a good idea. especially in this economic climate. the fish food you throw in is used more than 1 time. chtan23
I believe there are a lot of undigested food in the poos if you feed a lot. I always see my tangs checking out the poos from another tang's poo. Sometime, they ate it, but most of the time I saw them spit it out. SRC Member raydiative Posted March 25, 2009 SRC Member Share Posted March 25, 2009 well.. i think most fishes will eat others poo and spit it out after that.. especially tangs... SRC Member TayHongSiang Posted March 25, 2009 SRC Member Share Posted March 25, 2009 Reduce feeding may solve the problem...fishes are always looking hungry, dun be "fool" by them. Corals on the substrate will consume the poos...skimmer will also remove the organic waste.
