Tank now is quite packed as the sps grow bigger. Trying to make the colours more intense and less pastel by adding potassium chloride.

Some fish talk. I always prefer peaceful, non-aggressive fishes. Just love watching the tanaka possum wrasse & sunburst swimming boldly out on the open now in the tank. Finally managed to keep a sunburst alive after several attempts. I guess the collector makes a lot of difference.

Not having much success to clear some sps so I guess I just have to resist the temptation from going to sps shipments.

A fts to end my post

Looking back, It's been 7 years since I started this hobby. Dived into it when I just moved into a new home. This is my second tank. From a 4 ft to a 3 ft. From lps to sps. It's been hell of a journey. Friends come and go but the passion still lives on. Not sure for how long....though.

Added 2 pcs of Macropharyngodon bipartitus (splendid wrasses) a few weeks back. Very healthy fishes from CF. Also managed to capture the sunburst in that shot.

Took some black fine sand for my nano and poured the remaining at the front part of my tank to see how it looks.

I've found that the red and blue spectrum of LEDs is most effective for chaeto growth.

Just collected my gyre 135 from DE. I'm quite happy with it's performance as it's able to stir my bottom portion which my wp40 was not able to. I'm still running my wp 40 at 50% at "else" mode.

Previously, I was running the wp40 using w1 pulse mode and Tunze 6055. Both pumps pointing at upper portion. However, I find my bottom portion quite still and thus having dead spots with algae growth on the sand. The gyre pump is able to stir both the bottom and top.
