  1. That's crazy ex. I got one that is meant for any phone for $70, and I consider it quite ex already. Online selling $30++.
  2. Your previous tank was definitely ToTQ worthy. Looking forward to this build. Mind PMing me the cost of the tank set?
  3. Wow... 5 hrs wait? That's crazy.
  4. Bubble corals are photosynthetic, so they do not require feeding. Having said this, feeding them will enable them to thrive, but this is definitely not the issue the TS is facing.
  5. Since we are on this topic, how about sharing your own recipe for DIY mix of fish food? I've been mixing frozen mysis with New Life Spectrum pellets, cyclopeeze, Dr G's medicated fish food and Garlic Guard. Thought of adding seaweed to the mix.
  6. An interesting read. Coral color is NOT necessarily an indicator of success or health Read more: http://reefbuilders.com/2013/06/26/coral-color-indication-success-health/#ixzz2YPrPq2JN
  7. If the tank maker is who we think he is, then there is no surprise on workmanship. My very first tank made by him was perfect. Subsequent tanks came with slightly shoddy silicon work. It wasn't that bad as it was at the base, and I wanted to have a sand bed, so no issue there. Must understand, short arms lah...
  8. What lights were you using before the razor?
  9. I'm surprised the tank maker did not bother to laminate the boundaries of the chiller door cut-out. Kind of an eyesore to see a different colour other than the cabinet laminate.
  10. Lol... now I know what I should do with my tank and cabinet when I deccom.
  11. Mind sharing where your BF bought the lenses? I have one, but it does not come with the corner fixture. Instead, it uses a magnetic ring, which comes off often.
  12. If you truly wanna break away from this hobby, not visiting SRC is a good start. Otherwise, the "poison" here will coax you back into reefing again.
  13. Some of your photos are razor sharp, while others are a little blur-ish, esp the macro shots... what camera do you use?
  14. I have a similar question, but more like cooling the tank and cooling my room. My air-con compressor is down, so I was thinking of replacing it, as well as using it for aquarium. Anyone can share contacts?
  15. Your tank is not simple at all... let's see a FTS!
  16. Depending on the workmanship of your sump maker, it is very difficult to remove it on your own. Tried it before, end up getting professional help to do it.
  17. Mods should move this to the Pasar Malam Feedback section upon verification.
  18. Opistognathus Lonchurus (Sailfin Jawfish) I like how it turn its head at 1.27. Nice.
  19. Is it recommended to keep it refrigerated? It isn't stated on the labels...
  20. These look like diatoms to me. One case is that if your tank is still fairly new, diatoms will almost certainly appear, but it will go away after some time. What are you using for your water changes? Tap water? Diatoms thrive in the pressence of silica, so if you are using tap water in your top offs or water changes, chances are, diatoms will continue to remain in your tank. Your photopeirod is too long. You may want to consider reducing it to eight hrs.
