  6. its common for coral band shrimp to lose their pincer, it will grow back in no time. Cheers
  7. I've just trimed my chaeto, Tear out about 1/3 of it and threw it away (Dunno if it's the right thing to do?). The remaining still covered with a little of the red dots stuff. Hope they dun get infested and overrun by the red dots again. I think most of them r a type of red hairy algae, while some is coraline cos it looked purple to me.

  9. The little red dots seems like some sort of red hairy algae growing on the chaeto strains. Headache, dunno how to get rid of it.

  11. No cyano in my DPT. Cyano should be easily brush off but this one juz stick to my chaeto like a leech.
  12. Actually the red dots on the chaeto is not moving, just sticked to it. Dunno if it's growing, quite a lot.
  13. So does that means that u can't preset the channel for the white & blue % at different period, e.g. 1pm to 3pm 10% white, 90% blue, 3pm to 5pm 30% white 70% blue, 5pm to 9pm 50% white 50% blue and so on...? Pardon my ignorance.

  16. Not really, it's more like redish to purple color, I thinking could it be cynaobacteria or coraline algae growing on my chaeto too? Anyway here's another closer look at it, hope it helps to see the problem,
  17. There's quite a lot of little red dot thingy growing on my chaeto (Pls see pic). Wondering is it harmful? Should I remove them or can juz leave it alone? If removing, is there any method of separating the red stuff from the chaeto other then throwing away the whole bunch? Pls help, thanks.
