  2. hello all ya kickass super sps dudes,can anyone please teach me how to epoxy sps properly?do i like need to mould the epoxy before i let it cure??i am truely clueless,tried for the whole night but can seem to get it right...pics will be very very good...and erm,i'm talking about big colonies,not small frags...thanx one more thing,will my sps die if i off my water circulation(tunzes,return pump will still be running) for like one hour to let the epoxy cure?? thanx thanx thanx

  7. yes,possible.but attacth the center bracing and let it cure before u remove the 2 earlier bracings.
  8. i thought the seachem seagel and contraphos are mixed products(carbon and phosphate removing media),so can i say that these products are inefficient??
  9. haha,the mushies on top will become fried....but seriously,the "pendant" coupled with the para reflector is real cool.
  10. 1 and half inch u can get the male pvc thread from normal hardware stores.get teflon tapes(lots of it)as it will leak a little.as for pipes,get the eheim 25/34 rubber tubbing,fits the md40 like a charm.
  11. yo,check your nitrate and phosphate levels mate.phos and nitrates are fuel for algae.doing a water change with RO water should lessen the problem,or u can try phosphate removers. my little 2 ruppiah worth

  13. hello..casualty report,30% sps rtn-ed.had to frag off alot of pieces.green monti dead,orange monti cap barely made it......to think one of the bigger colonies starting to turn pinkish...... happened like this,forgotten to set timer after i reset it,my 500watts boiled the water,a piece of filter sponge got stuck in the inlet of the chiller(exactly the same chiller as bro deepblue)and yea,temperature went up to 33 degrees....water felt warm....some fishes were gasping and i can see tissues flying out of my sps....certainly not a wonderful sight.....
