  8. old thread but just to add documentation from my recent experience that might help others, an external probe will help address the chiller on/off durations very well if a bigger pump is not practical. and a small wave maker to make up for the reduced power to move water within the tank.   10. i was using a nicrew 30W till i switched to an ai. it seems to be fine even for an 18” deep tank. i have lps, softies and anemones too. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  11. i just switch from an aio to a sump using an overflow box. biggest advantage is the much larger volume and the ability to have a refugium in the sump. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
