  1. Paul digicam u also got lobang??? lightningstrike, I only know Alan Photo at Sim Lim Square (ground level) offers quite competitive pricing. Cheers!
  2. Not sure if it was the same wrasse that I had. There was this green wrasse that I bought previously (>10 years ago) and it ate up my 2 cleaner shrimps and boxer shrimp. Ouch. expensive meal.
  3. I think your tank has got too many LS. try to keep the peaceful species. firefish - purple goby? clowns - percula? blenny - bicolour goby - blue cheek maybe a pigmy angel - flame. cleaner shrimp. Then you have - purple, yellow, red, white fishes in the tank. If you add in a juvenile koran - then u have black. WOW! try not to have damsels. if you really want, get the less aggressive ones. 2ft tank not suitable for YT - IMO.
  4. forgot to mention that it comes with a 128MB card and a carrying case.
  5. $150. Can be a fully automatic or fully manual digital camera. Interested can PM me. Reason for selling - I have another 4Meg camera.
  6. Just got a demo disc for World of Warcraft. Wondering is any of the bros / sis here are in the realms?
  7. Hi Nitro. Nice tank. who is your tank maker? Can PM me the contact?
  8. Yes Stream. I sat in one yesterday. nice! How about Toyota Picnic? Looks good too.
  9. SE K750i. Higher pix camera and friendly user interface. evolved from 700i - so system shld be quite stable.
  10. Jaslyn Avoid Korean or continental cars if you want to save on Petrol. Japanese cars are more reliable and fuel consumption is lower. If you are looking for an MPV, Wish should be a good buy. Heard that the new Honda series of cars are more thrifty on petrol consumption but the price is generally higher. Not sure if they have an entry level MPV though. Also heard that there will be a 1.6 MPV soon. Forgot which car/ brand. But in my opinion, The engine seems a little too small for an MPV size car. Juz my thots.
  11. Your June bill is an estimate. The July one is the actual. So you actual consumption per month is the average of these two months. Suggestions: 1) Try to sleep with Air con. Use fan instead. A rule of thumb: AIr con consumption is about $1 per night. so 3 rooms = $90 per mth. But when you switch on 3 units simultaneously, the compressor is made to work harder, so the consumption goes higher. But I think this is tough for ppl who are used to sleeping in Air con. 2) THe washing machine is used everyday. Try to consolidate the clothes and wash less often but with more load each time. If your washing machine comes with dryer function, try not to use it. It consumes a lot of energy. 3) Gives adequate ventilation for your fridge. Try not to locate it too near to the wall. move it out by a couple of inches. This will help to save energy. Also if when there is minimum things in the fridge, please raise the temperature setting. DO not have to set it to the coldest. 4) Marine tank chiller: I think you need to get a better chiller. CL650 might not be sufficient for your 5 ft tank.
  12. One more question: The basic tools needed for the SPS is the CR, skimmer, chiller,MH. What are the ones that are good to have and would benefit the tank? Fluidize reactor? Ozone? Zeovit? What do these do and will it make much of a difference? IS you have $$, who you have use them?
  13. Weileong, thanks for the tip. Will try to get as wide as possible tank. But I think I am limited by space constraints. Thanks for the discussion on the sandbed. From maintenance point of view, I guess a shallow one is easier to siphon than a deep one. correct? One that is BB does seem a little "artificial" to me.
  14. Thanks RAV SSB as in 1 inch? also should I use Grade 0 or Grade 1 or other grades? Personally I prefer Grade 0 = finer, looks nicer. and how to create random flow?? chimalogy.....
  15. apollo BB tanks..... I am planning on getting some gobies. Acutally would prefer to get a thin sand bed in the tank. about 1 inch. will it make much of a difference or is there an absolute benefit of a BB SPS tank. My tank will be 2 ft tall. Will debris from rock accumulate on the bottom of the tank? thanks for your help.
  16. hi henry, Thanks for the tip. need to give u a first prize for helping out. what is low iron glass....chim. Is it one of those Stapphire glass they are toking abt?
  17. Can hold reefers gathering there. Setting up any tanks in the cafe??
  18. hey Lizaard44, I think the best that you can do is talk to your good friend and warn him the consequences. Other than that, let nature that its own course. I do not think you can do anything more......
  19. All I am embarking upon the journey to set up an SPS tank (approx 2.5 ft x 2ft x 2ft). Currently sourcing for tank & cabinet, etc etc. The investment is looking to exceed >$2k. I am trying to get the tank setup correct right from the start. Looking to all the old birds here for advise so that I can minimise liverstock and monetary loses. Hope to gain from your experience and I believe what you will be sharing will benefit a lot of SPS tank newbies. So any advise and precaution will be greatly appreciated...... Thanks!
  20. no offense intended. (regardless if it is really the case.) Willing buyer, willing seller market.
