  1. some of us have already been doing it. I guess it boils down to comfort level of each reefer as to where and who, they wanna meet up with...
  2. sps and rics you ZHAN!!! But...lps? cyanrina lah...and the darling shouldn't be placed on top of the other red one...the latter bites...
  3. they will burn... some will become botak aka bald...some will stop growing and start dying...some will slowly change to calcium skeleton... got it? Do a water change NOW... At least 30 to 40%...
  4. dun worry...muar chee...i wouldn't think of spitting saliva at something that I love to eat... muar is 'I' lar... I would turn from flubberina to scandalina if you pay for my hotel stay... and dun let out steam in the wrong place hor...
  5. yup...not only just in AZ...but also practically everywhere in USA and Europe too...esp...Prague. Real incident here... Muar was also charged more when I booked a hotel stay. Infact was charged on three extra occasions...they thought I very goondu... Checked my account and called them up and they said they will credit into my card account the soonest!!! So next time if you stay in motels in States, pls be careful on how much you are signing for and also to double-check the account after a few days. As for Prague...they are very fast when they got your cards. Start shooting away in shops. Reported the loss and then realised this was happening...was charged about S$3000+ Thank God that the bank accepted my explanation..
  6. yup...lettuce nudi and they are definitely good algae attackers. Had four stowaways from rocks and they kept my tank algae free back then.
  7. I miss my corals... new house I moving to can't allow me to keep tank...wooden apartments and wooden floors...can't take the load...
  8. The ones I have, are the 3/4 inch ones if I am not wrong. Was thinking of you getting from my mum if they fit but I think you need the 1inch ones since it is 25mm? Anyway, these are the ones I am talking abt. https://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=FT1514 let me know via pm...
  9. yup...the mask will indeed ease a bit of the suffering when she sees how rejuvenated her skin will be after the mask... The trial set at $48 is the icing to the cake... Yup...her birthdate, address, nric no and name. Birthdate...so that they will give her special bonus when she buys in her birthday month. Anyway, there are also fake SK2 products around so must be aware of the the authenticity. The packaging is the one that shows...1) the Procter & gamble sticker, 2) The serial number that is imprinted on the box and the mark that says 'Paper' in chinese character. Lin, if you have young skin, then you dun need to use the essence often. Just every other day or two days' gap, according to one of the promoters. and get to know more of the products at sk2 products ###### website anyway, happy buying...
  10. If you drive, try going to the Chelsea outlets, they having President's Day sales. There's one at San Jose and the Petaluma one also not bad. There's certain offers when you purchase above an amount like additional discounts. Embassy or Ameri suites really not bad if on company account otherwise Motel 8 serves your function too. Just remember dun get the ones too near rail tracks and airports. You wun be able to sleep then... Anyway, try joining some webbies like expedia.com, orbitz.com etc...their rates may be even cheaper sometimes. enjoy your trip... BTW...remember to get the model number of any Coach bag that your wifey fancies, otherwise she will 'scream' at you for not getting for her...
  11. Tell me abt it...yup...branding but the stuff do work... I stocked up on them before I went overseas. I am using most of them which I still can't get in States. So far....I only think the eye gel sucks, other than that...most of the products not bad except that Miracle Essence costs more than $1.00 per drop and magine you have to use more than a drop each time u use it. Anyway, there's a trial pack at $48 for the essential stuff if I am not wrong. But you may have to put your name on waiting lis Othewise, request for samples but they usually run out of them or limit people to 2 pcs per pax. My best bet is the counters at first, Metro Paragon, then Isetan Scotts, Tangs and finally Robinsons centrepoint where stocks replenishments are faster. And dun forget to sign her up for the membership as she will then be able to redeem her points for SK2 products.
  12. me only a small collection to complement the jewellery pieces that I made myself from the raw crystals that are sold.
  13. bro...me not in Singapore lah...S2000 here costs only around USD20000. I am a pauper on semi-retirement mood...
  14. what's the size of your pipes? I may still have those german-made plastic ones that are also pleasant to the eyes and clamping tight too...
  15. Can deliver to me in States? I miss those stuff and esp. Bakwa....
  16. congrats...bro. Me wasn't in time to take my final theory even though my instructor said I am ready for the test... Anyway, will be taking my theory here first and preparing for lefthand driving... Hubby's S2000 at my disposal soon...
  17. How profoundedly true, the words that spelt, to a certain extent. We have to ask ourselves, do we buy corals in order to be a trendsetter? Do we jump into the hobby because of trends or one's passion? How we felt when we lose a fish? How we felt when we lose a coral? Is it just monetary pains or intrinsic emotions when that happens? I would try to advocate responsible reefing practices and extensive research before jumping into an unknown coral or fish but alas...how many fish have died in thy hands...how many corals have perished in thy care...I stand guilty and charged as said...
  18. Hardly get a chance to log in nowadays but when I do, I will usually zoom in to your thread. Awesome...bro...simply awesome. Never go for SPS because I dun think they will be as colourful as LPS... You are changing my mindset...bro. Kudos to your dedication and diligence in keeping this tiny island's name in marine history. Easily can send you out as our representative.

  20. Not having a concrete idea of what you have in mind but just my two cents for the following... Made plannings on something like... 1) finance...where is it gonna come from, and where's the contingency cash coming from when you need it. 2) management...manpower? who's gonna do what? 3) 6, 9 months plans and then 1 year plans to check the feasibility of the business 4) Resources? 5) business contacts...and where the potential ones are gonna come from and where would you be able to source for more 6) business strategies/ gimmicks/ promotions to generate sales and maybe have a promotion calendar too. Just rattling... getting this from a lady who used to earn at least $15K a month when she was 23 before she left to pursue humanitarian goals...
