hey i dun understand why after the cycling process you need to do water change... i tot once the goody bacteria established liao then alright liao ma.. but if do water change then the goody bacteria will be removed wat.. isn't it so? can enlighten me... i read it over at saltaquarium website...

actually just out of curosity, how big is your E ballast? cos i went down to Diy store, saw their e ballast for 40 W i think, only like 4 to 5 inches size... yours look like 2 ft size..

guess wat again? me found a small starfish in my tank today! wahaha! it's very small.. about 1 inch size... but one of it's leg is missing... but it's ok.. will grow back.. orange in colour... got any name for this starfish? i found it on my LR... what does starfish feed on?

i got this empty 3 ft tank.. intending to use it for marine...but then there this side which i dun know what to do with it... should i use it for filtering or should i do away this part? or just leave it there? it'a about 4 inches space...
