Torch coral not doing well

Just bought a torch coral from GO yesterday. It was showing abit of its skeleton when I placed it in the tank. Today its still looking the same. Is it dying or not? Is it normal because its new? Octo and candy coral also newly bought is doing fine.

Hammer are so far kind of easy to keep. Check ur flow on the hammer if its too fast

Lightings: T5 actinic blue x4 , T5 white x4

Reefing is sharing. People with rotten mouth is sure a loser for life as expected. When a tomato gets rotten, you can nvr save it.. Throw it away before it infect the good ones.

i got a torch been with me 3 yrs.. as i though hammer would be slightly differcult or almost the same as torch.. It could be the lightings difference.

My hammer used to be very healthy, it lived beside a frogspawn. However, now one of its branch is slowly disappearing. Not sure what happened. Other hammer and corals are okay.

I dont think is water parameter, guess it is luck.

Thanks for the replies guys. To my amazement when I got to office just now, my torch is blooming but the octo seems to have melted. To throw or still recoverable?

50% melted. Its beyond cure imo.

Skimmer : Skimz Octa SC205i Protein Skimmer.

FR : H2Ocean FMR75 Fluidised Media Reactor with Hailea HX-2500 (Feeder Pump) running Rowaphos.

CR : Skimz Monzter E Series CM122 Calcium Reactor.

BPR: Marine Source Biopellet  Reactor with Continuum Reef Biopellet Fuel. 

Main Return Pump : SICCE Syncra ADV 9.0 & Jebao ACQ-10000 Water Pump.

Wavemaker : Jebao MOW-9 x2 for Main Display Tank & Jebao SLW-20M  Sine Wave Pump for  Frag Tank.

Water Top Up: AutoAqua Smart ATO Lite.
