SRC Member Hon Posted March 15, 2013 Author SRC Member Share Posted March 15, 2013 That's right, it's a SM201. Bought it before I come to know of new model with DC pump.
SRC Member kksg2000 Posted March 15, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted March 15, 2013 My sump is very empty, hopefully can keep it this way in the long run. Maybe add a dosing pump if got spare cash and time to play around. Right side IMG_4383.JPG Left side IMG_4384.JPG Bro, you have 2 drain pipes huh? SRC Member tropic Posted March 15, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted March 15, 2013 Simple sump easier to maintain. With your two side door accessing the sump is a breeze. Once u fill up with reactors and hoses..not so empty already.. Sent from my Android using Tapatalk2

SRC Member Hon Posted March 17, 2013 Author SRC Member Share Posted March 17, 2013 Can't stand the tank being empty with LR only, hence went shopping today. Bought 2 clam, 1 hammer and 4 Nemo (Kids request for it. Guess what they are asking next. Where is Dolly...) Not forgetting a stag on plug. Testing my luck keeping SPS without chiller. SRC Member Hon Posted March 25, 2013 Author SRC Member Share Posted March 25, 2013 Those patches on the bottom tank are not coraline, my tank is only 12 days old. They are actually small debris that broke off from the LR. Keeping fingers crossed that SPS can thrive in a non-chilled tank. Temp is hovering between 28.5 to 29 deg. No dosing pump, looks like no place to hook up as sump space is very limited. Still trying to read up what's the latest additive and recommended one. So many new brand on the market now. Please share if you know what is good for a mix tank. Thanks.

SRC Member Hon Posted May 11, 2013 Author SRC Member Share Posted May 11, 2013 Haven't update for a while. 3 weeks back added some LR, causes a mini-cycle and kill off my SPS plug. Change some water and regain back the parameter. Since then, added some more fishes and coral. Weather been hot, water temp has been hovering around 30 deg mark. Hopefully the coral can take it and thrive. Some pic of the tank as of today, haven't clean the glass yet thou.... Left Front Right
