Just bought my first few soft corals and applied epoxy to give them a firmer grip on the LR with epoxy.

After applying epoxy, my tank suddenly turned cloudy... Any issues ?

It gets better when u use eproxy more. U will learn to how to minimize adjustments in e water n thus reduce e Amount of eproxy dissolved into e water. Anyway, think Skimmers help to clear them too.

But for coral with slightly heavier base rock have to use epoxy. Anyway I suck at epoxy never stick well for me. Maybe my skill no good. Sigh.

I use both, depending on situations, i will choose either one. Epoxy more for bigger applications or where stronger bond is required. Epoxy the more u use, the better u will become.

Epoxy certainly gives a very strong bonding.

After applying yesterday, I couldn't move them anymore today :P

I think BSI gel is good. What I do is, when putting the frag onto the LR, apply a little pressure and I give the frag a little twist. This will help spread the gel at the contact point between frag and LR, giving a firmer hold. Hope that works for you.
