Lemon's 2013 new build

video.

Lotilia klausewitzi and Alpheus rubromaculatus.

the goby on its own is extremely shy. however the shrimp is very outgoing and the goby will follow the shrimp everywhere, even far out of their burrow. watch the video.

this is a very interesting goby and shrimp combo that is not like any stonogobiops or other more conventional shrimp goby pairs. i would reccomend this fish to anyone with a peaceful nano setup.

Hi Lemon, really nice to see your developing tank. im excited to get a white cap goby. which other shrimp can i pair with the goby?

Lotilia has so far only been known to pair with Alpheus rubromaculatus.

even when you order it from the supplier, they are shipped together.

Some new fishes from recent red sea shipment.

Meiacanthus nigrolineatus - Red Sea fang blenny

Ecsenius gravieri - Mimic combtooth blenny. excellent algae grazer.

Dascyllus marginatus - i love this damsel. the pearlescent body is very reflective under the MH. can't replicate the sheen in picture.

Pintail fairy wrasse.

Cirrhilabrus cf. lanceolatus. looks very similar to the previous wrasse but the tail is not crescent. This is a young specimen, and in time, the tail will develop a sword shape. a little point at the tail tip can already be seen.

harvested a big handful of these mini tubeworms that were living in the overflow box of an old matured tank. less than a month and they've grown noticeably bigger, almost twice the size, and now have developed some color on the feathers.

i just find they add a certain quality to the sandbed. looks more alive. not for aesthetics reason. tons of them everywhere.

one more shrimp i forgot to upload.

Leander plumosus. big nose shrimp. super interesting shape, long rostrum, hunched back. shy and prefer coming out to forage at night.

Unique looking shrimp!

Are they all living in your refugium?!?!

Or are you intending to keep non-shrimp safe species in your DT?
