SRC Member diki88 Posted July 16, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted July 16, 2014 Jialat. Pull out the cupramine if its still alive. If tmr still alive then still got 1-5% hope of making it. SRC Member Sharan Guna Posted July 16, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted July 16, 2014 hi bro. Im not a pro but i think i came across a same case when i was reading about ich. I think your water parameters for your QT is different from the main tank you took the fish from. Try to make it similar quickly and hopefully this will help
SRC Member ml708 Posted July 16, 2014 Author SRC Member Share Posted July 16, 2014 Unfortunately my emperor angel has passed on. Seems like the next one to die will be my jawfish. It's already blind in one eye. Guys hope this is a lesson to all of you. Quarantine your fish before adding.
I love angel
Is it too much copper in the QT? Do you check the copper level? Always go slow on the copper level. Also check the ANN level too? Small QT tank have ANN issue , need to regular change water.

Avrilovigne
Emperor angels or any angels for that matter are not easy or beginner fish. The faded colour is due to bad water quality, not cupramine. Sorry for the loss though
