Really beautiful tank, clean pipings and it looks like it was planned well!

Love your anthias! and the Floating rockscape was really neat!

May I ask if you know anywhere else to buy live copepods other than west side? thanks!

Update:

I finally got most of my SPS back! Special thanks to my friend again for housing my corals! All of them grew and colored up even better! Now i hope i can hold the colors.

Updated water parameters after dosing pump went online :

N03: 2ppm

Po4 : 0

Calcium : 420ppm

kH : 8.2dkh

Mg : 1380ppm

potassium : 400ppm

Today also starts my dosing of Zeovit basic 4 (not using zeostart 3 as im using AIO Biopellet), which are zeobak, coral vitalizer as well as Sponge power. I am also currently dosing Cyano clean to battle cyano issue and Bio-mate too. For Fauna marine products, im using Color elements, Balling lites (Dose into dosing bottles) and ultra organics. Hopefully using this hybrid system will bring out the best of both.

Picture time!

Experienced great growth from my radioactive birdnest!

How are you planning to battle the brown algae?

Wait it out or add something to sift through the sand?

For brown algae probably have to wait it out..

Beautiful corals bro! Definitely will look better if u can get some nice cultured/wild colonies.

I am sure the hybrid, zeovit/FM system will work out well!

Thanks bro! i guess for cultured/wild one i can only get those i really like! Not much place left!

bro, your tank almost full alr. LOL!!

Ya loh! tank down size, collection also have to down size! Yeap! tabling millie.

Update:

Today is an exciting day! I got back my last batch of corals!

Consist of 3 SSCs, 1 Blue dragon frag and 1 Ice fire colony!

My lovely unique SSC, grown from a tiny 1" Frag, it grows much much slower then all my other SSCs too.

Another SSC, same species yet so different..

Yet another SSC, Bought as a 1" Frag, it grew and encrusted much faster compared to the one in the first image.

The reason why i love coral Farm, They have the best livestocks around here IMO. This cleaner wrasse from them immediately whacked frozen brine shrimp when released into the tank

Very nice corals... Not adding any angel or tang? Went TFC today.. Saw many nice AT... can't wait to house them.

Thanks! Definitely no tangs, this tank is way too small for any tang. My old 4 footer seems small for my yellow tang already. Im considering adding a pygmy flameback angel though.

If you were to asked me, AT requires 6ft tank and above. Well they are people who think differently. and there are people who keeps sharks in tank too. But 3ft for AT is definitely way too small. YT Might still be acceptable.

about 21 months ago, i purchased a mandarin fish as my first fish for my 1ft cube. It was a mistake and i had to buy pods weekly as the tank was way too small to house/breed pods to feed it.

2013-03-30210814_zpsffff56f8.jpg

Today it had doubled in size and went through 3 tank changes, It remains the most hardy fish and one of my favourite!

DSC08192_zpsb58f774d.jpg

Some new addition :

Was told this is a birds of paradise!

DSC08166_zpsa4dd0d00.jpg

Its been a REALLY long time since i bought cultured SPS, the first cultured colony for my tank is this beautifully shaped bali green slimer!

DSC08167_zps88d83452.jpg

Red milie, loving the PE

DSC08152_zpsc6b08809.jpg

Interesting Acro which i have no ID, greenish base with pink/red tips.

DSC08160_zps65692539.jpg

Zoas corner, They are situated at the left side of the tank! Less flow and lesser light.

DSC08171_zps5fb32392.jpg

After i turn off all the pumps/wavemaker the Anthias go dancing around the SPS, a truely beautiful sight.. Its a pity when i turn back the pumps on, due to the high flow the anthias tend to avoid or seldom venture among the sps.

DSC08178_zps1b14fdd5.jpg

FTS Taking with just 2 x 24 Aquazonic T5 turned on! Its pretty cool how well-lite is the tank. I did do a little brightening but just 2 tubes of the aquazonic t5 is able to light up the whole tank.

DSC08197_zps0784f56e.jpg

Thats all for today, thanks for viewing!

Thanks man! I don't believe in those expensive fanciful lights! I don't need effects like cloudy etc etc.. just sun rise sun set wil do.

Simply amazing for your setup bro. You rock is awesome
