Morgan's Anthias Tank

Since there is a current craze for these beautiful fishes, I like to show some pics of my fishes.

I kept them in a 4x2x2 connected to my main tank. This tank only has LR, I have removed the LPS to another tank cos I have lost a few of these beauties to them...they become LPS food.

They are fed at least 2 times a day, and almost all the fishes will eat 'out of my hand'.

Would not recommend newbies to try some of the anthias as they are very sensitive to poor water condition.

Some are also very finicky about what they will eat.

Evansi are more delicate and can be problematic

They cannot complete with the more aggressive anthias.

I have to remove my only bartlett so as not to stress them too much.

Happy to say that they are feeding very well.

The very common purple queen or tukas.

They are near impossible to keep cos of food and have to admit that I have lost a number of them. Very hesitant to try this fish again.

This is the last surviving 1, had this fish for about 8 months. It has progress from bbs to forzen food.

I got dispar but I'm not going to post those pics as they are very common and not too diffcuilt to keep

Here are pics from my new aqusitions.

It the Sunset Anthias, Pseudanthias parvirostris.

Beautiful fishes, and they start eating after I released them into the tank.

I think this fish is beautiful and easy....and I hope it will not be too aggressive.

My anthias tankmate (last pic)

Folks :thanks: for viewing

Remember they are nice to look at but consider this before you buy

Sensitive to water condition

Shy and timid, don't do well in tank with aggressive fishes

Not easy to feed

May hide in the LR and starve to death
